The award-winning Water Tower Theatre is based here and is known for producing new works from local artists. You can also spend a great day checking out the Cavanaugh Flight Museum, which houses multiple aircraft from U.S. wars and benefits from its proximity to the Addison Airport and Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW). Outdoor Attractions

There are plenty of parks in town to enjoy, whether you’re looking for a place to exercise or enjoy a picnic in the Texas sunshine. Addison Circle Park is a popular park and event space known for its annual Fourth of July fireworks show, the aptly named Addison Kaboom Town! You can also spend a wonderful afternoon exploring Vitruvian Park, which has a gorgeous lights display around the holidays, or Quorum Park, a 3.47-acre park with a must-see water fountain.
