With SilverStone Hospice, you will receive confident care within a life-affirming environment. We are excited to continue sharing hope filled stories from patients and their family members.
In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, our Seamstresses with Halo’s volunteer team have a weekly production of masks for nurses and care team members in partner facilities and hospitals.
During the COVID-19 crisis and wide-spread shut down of Skilled Nursing Facilities, our No One Dies Alone volunteer team provided care for patients within a facility by passing on the baton of compassionate care and sitting at the bedside of our patients when the family is unable to be present. With SilverStone Hospice, no one dies alone. We are fiercely compassionate and vigilantly support our patients in their final hours.
“I just want to say thank you. Thank you for rushing me to get to my mother to spend those last moments. I will never forget the prayer you prayed and the words of advice while supporting my mother through her transition. I am glad that she passed at the facility under your care and not at home alone. Please tell your team that I appreciate everything that you all have done. You all are great.”
“Hospice care drew me in 30 years ago when my Dad was diagnosed with cancer and eventually lost his life to it. I truly enjoy helping our patients and families navigate the complexities of advanced directives, funeral arrangements and providing emotional support so they can focus on the ones they love during some of the most difficult times in their lives.”
“Thanks for putting all of this together for us. You are so amazing. We truly appreciate all of your hard work and dedication. You are making my dad and our lives easier in so many ways. From the bottom of our humble hearts, we thank you.”
“I want to thank the SilverStone Hospice team for all that you did for my Mom. You really make a difference in lives. God Bless you always.”
